The Quality Assurance and Strategic Planning Office
The Quality Assurance and Strategic Planning Office primarily deals with 3 main tasks:
Strategic Planning
- Providing guidance and coordination in the development, implementation and evaluation of University-wide strategic plans
Quality Assurance
- Contributing to the development of university wide quality assurance policy
- Planning and monitoring all the external and internal processes (self-assessment and external evaluations) to develop and maintain an effective institutional quality assurance
- Providing support and advice to individual units to make sure all relevant measures are followed and in line with the university wide quality assurance policy.
Management Information System
- Contributing to the development of fully integrated information system
- Collecting, refining ,analysing data and producing statistics and managerial reports
- Producing annual reports leading to performance appraisals
- Monitoring benchmark information from similar Universities and University Rankings
Organisational Development
- Carrying out studies to determine organisational capacity, weaknesses and strengths
- Identifying areas for improvement and advising the relevant units to contribute to management development within the university.
- Carrying out studies to gather staff and student feedback for the purpose of organisational development and continuous improvement.
